The amount of direct and indirect taxations is one of the highest in the world with sub quality benefits to the public. Would you put your child in a municipal school or a private? Would you treat your kin in a government or a private hospital? What roads are you talking about? The ones so full of potholes ? What infrastructure are you referring to? All Jandhan accounts where the deposits at the end of 30,Dec 2016 are more than 10 times that of 8th Nov.2016 must be scrutinised and invalidated for withdrawal purposes. In the case of accounts of value more than 5 lakhs, an increase of 3 times should be scrutinised.
Of course people with unaccounted cash will try to circumvent these impositions. But that doesn't mean the GOI shouldn't do anything to curb this menace.
