UIDAI itself in the note confirms that "more that 50,000 operators have been blacklisted". Why such a huge number ? What were they blacklisted for ? UIDAI is not telling the whole truth as it knows that it may get shut down.

See the amount of desperation in certain sections with vested interest to somehow derail AADHAR linking to PAN, Bank accounts and other services. These vested interests have some thing to hide or apparently have other agenda at the behest of some others. To ensure that personal identification is fool-proof, biometric capturing is the best way. Otherwise people have multiple PANs, multiple passports, and what not. It is a good step and in fact the CORRECT step to link these to ensure unique identification.

It's India , privacy is of no importance to anyone . Besides, when our PM prinicipal chowkidar himself talks of threat to his life then who can secure Aadhar....

Then why the hell everyone ask for Aadhar detail if our personal data is not secured. SC, pls do something here. No clarity for general public on this.

If our fingerprints and retina scans are stolen, then our very being is compromised.

In the future, we can never use fingerprint detection or retina scan for our own purposes also. It is not like a password that can be changed if it is stolen.
